April 3, 2006 - The Ashton Meeting Place development team will hold the third in a series of informational forums on Thursday, April 6, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting, which will take place at the Ross Boddy Community Center on Brooke Road, will focus on the environmental improvements planned for the Ashton Meeting Place property and the intersection.  NMP Engineering Consultants, Inc. will present the concepts and results of the storm water management study and Biota Environmental Design & Restoration will discuss the wetland mitigation concepts and plan.

“We recognize that the environmental impact on our property is of interest to many local citizens,” stated Fred Nichols, member of the development team.  “We have worked closely with a number of environmental engineers and the State of Maryland to ensure that we have a plan that improves the quality and quantity of the storm water that runs into the Patuxent Watershed.”
