Developers of Ashton Meeting Place to Hold Community Meeting
First in a Series of Informational Forums to Focus on Traffic Improvements

The development team of Ashton Meeting Place will be holding the first in a series of informational forums on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting, which will take place at the Ross Boddy Community Center on Brooke Road, will focus on planned road improvements to the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Rte. 108. A representative from the Maryland State Highway Administration will share with the community its plans and its commitment to making these improvements, provided that the Ashton Meeting Place development is approved.

"The entire community is welcomed and encouraged to come hear first hand, the level of commitment the State will make to the community of Ashton to improve traffic flow through this important intersection," stated Fred Nichols, member of the development team.
